Masterson’s Pub , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my recent visit at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I found behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The surfaces were tacky , and a nauseating aroma of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms suffused the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of excrement , old age and a sickly smell. The serving zone , which should be the primary feature of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The restroom was in even a truly awful state— clogged , with a snapped lever and walls covered in what I can only assume was feces.
